Rance Ritchie

Rance Ritchie, 81, of Frostburg, passed away at home after a prolonged illness on August 29, 2025.

Rance served in the Vietnam War from 1964-1967, followed by four decades with Maryland State Highway Administration(SHA).

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth “Shy” Ritchie and Lucille Ritchie, and by one daughter, Heather. 

Rance is survived by his wife of 57 years, Judith (Mankamyer) Ritchie; son Justin Ritchie and wife Kelly, Eckhart; son Jason Ritchie, Vinings, GA; and brother Robin Ritchie and wife Pam, Greencastle, PA; niece Tabitha Ritchie and nephew Chad Ritchie.

According to his wishes, he was cremated and there will be no service.
