Ronald Shoemake

Ronald David Shoemake Sr. 75, of Frostburg passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at Encompass Health Rehab of Morgantown, WV.

Born on December 20, 1949 to the late Lois (Deffenbaugh) and Robert Shoemake.

Ronald is a four veteran of the Navy and a 34 year veteran of the Army National Guard. He work for DJS as a field supervisor for Allegany and Garrett Counties and move on to Assistant Super Director of the boy's camp. He volunteered his time at the Cresaptown Eagles #2883 and became President and State President in 2012. He especially loved to volunteer during the pizza night fundraisers. In his free time Ronald enjoyed golfing and spending time at his South Carolina residents.

Surviving are his wife (together for 60 years), Sandra Shoemake; sons, Ronald Shoemake Jr and wife Betsy, Robert Shoemake and wife Amber, Ryan Shoemake and wife Mikki, Randy Shoemake and wife Kim; granddaughters, Hallie, Courtney, Regan and Raylynn; great granddaughter, Daisy. He also leaves behind his sisters, Susie Williams and husband Daniel and Candie Long and husband Gary.

 Ronald will be cremated in accordance with his wishes and no services will be held.

 Inurnment will be in Frostburg Memorial Park.
