Ruth Smith

Ruth Mae Smith, 90, passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2016, at Western Maryland Regional Medical Center.
Born on Mar 5, 1926, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Ambrose R. and Mabel (Anderson) McLaughlin.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, William D. Smith, in July of 2015, and a daughter, Beverly Rossetti.
Ruth worked in the clerical department of the Pennsylvania Economy League, a private catalyst whose goal was to improve government efficiency and eliminate wasteful spending in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Surviving is her daughter, Carol Smith, Frostburg.
Mrs. Smith was cremated in accordance with her wishes.
Inurnment will be with her husband in Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Bethel Park, PA.
