Sarah Ann (Lashley) Friend, 85, of Mt. Savage, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2015 at WMHS Western Maryland Regional Hospital
Born, December 18, 1929, in Mt Savage to the late Benjamin Lashley and Lillie (Norris) Lashley. Sarah is also preceded in death by her husband Floyd Franklin Friend, May 3, 1973; six brothers, Ike, Ralph, Harmon, Elmer, Robert, William Lashley; three sisters, Ruth Harden, Mary Lashley, and Lillie Lashley.
Sarah is a retiree from A.B.L who worked in the cafeteria for 43 years.
Surviving are her three stepsons; Floyd R. Friend and Janet, Cresaptown, Dale G. Friend and Kathy, Frederick, Roy F. Friend and Sandy, Woodbridge VA; four sisters, Pluma Dom, Wellersburg, Etta Malloy, Savage, Betty Zimmerman, Solon Ohio, Leona Felker, Mt. Savage; and six step grandchildren.
