Sharon Ann Conlee

Sharon Ann Conlee, 66, of Garrett County, Maryland, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2026, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, West Virginia, after a courageous battle with cancer that lasted nearly ten years. Through every challenge she faced, Sharon remained a true warrior, meeting each day with strength, grace, and unwavering determination.

Born on February 24, 1960, in Baltimore, Maryland, Sharon was the daughter of James G. Hamilton and Gertrude "Trudy" Overby Hamilton.

Sharon is lovingly survived by her children, Charon Clark and husband Tim Clark, Danielle Sines and husband Wilbur Sines, Michele Rathell, and Steve Holler. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Cassidy Overstreet and her fiancé, Anthony Mayhew, Mason Sines, and Madison and Matthew Holler; and great-grandmother to her beloved great-grandson, Waylon Mayhew. Nothing brought Sharon greater joy than spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandson. She is also survived by her lifelong companion, Larry Wilt, whose friendship and unwavering presence remained a constant throughout her life.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Trudy Tester, James Hamilton, and her beloved twin sister, Shawn Wilhelm.

Sharon dedicated several years of her life caring for others as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at St. Vincent DePaul. She had a servant's heart and extended her compassion far beyond her profession. She generously volunteered with the Eastern Garrett Volunteer Fire Department, always finding ways to give back and help those in need. Whether family, friend, or stranger, Sharon never hesitated to lend a helping hand.

A proud graduate of Chesapeake High School, Sharon found peace and happiness in gardening and caring for her many houseplants. Her home reflected the warmth and love she carried in her heart.

Above all else, Sharon treasured her family. Her love wasn't limited by blood—she welcomed many adopted children and grandchildren into her life, embracing each one as family. She made everyone feel accepted, loved, and valued.

Sharon truly never knew a stranger. With a heart of gold, an infectious smile, and a caring spirit, she touched countless lives. Her kindness, generosity, and unconditional love left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her. Even during her nearly ten-year battle with cancer, she remained courageous and resilient, inspiring those around her with her strength and determination.

Sharon's legacy is one of love, compassion, and selflessness. She leaves behind a family who adored her, friends who became family, and a community made better because she was part of it. Though she is deeply missed, her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
