Thelma June Moran
91, of Frostburg, passed away, Friday, November 4, 2016 at Western Maryland Regional Medical Center.
Born December 31, 1924, in Mt. Savage, the daughter of Lee Green and Alice (Orndorff) Green-Adams. Thelma was Catholic by faith, she was preceded in death by her husband, John B. Moran Sr. and sister, Helen Irene Prichard.
Surviving is a daughter, June Ann Martin and husband Gary, Mt. Savage; a son, John B. Moran Jr. and wife Margaret, Falling Waters WV; four grandchildren, Kenneth Martin and Anna, Tim Martin and wife Kristin, Alan Moran and wife Cheryl, and Tammy Beal and husband Tom. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.
Mrs. Moran lived in Washington D.C. for 50 years. She was a waitress at the Washington Hilton Hotel and others where she met many politicians and celebrities. She moved to Frostburg in 2000, what she enjoyed most was being with her family.
Per her wishes, she will be cremated and a private service will be held at a later date.
