Thomas Hetz

Thomas Edwin Hetz Jr, 52, of Frostburg, passed away surrounded by family on January 17, 2023.

Born on September, 16, 1970. He is the son of Maxene (Porter) and Thomas E. Hetz Sr.

He is preceded in death by wife of 16 years, Ann M. (Charbonneau) Hetz.

Thomas was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, CRT for Northern Garrett and Frostburg Fire Department, Georges Creek Ambulance, formally worked for Cintas Uniform and recently delivered newspaper for the Cumberland Times News. He was also an Eagle Scout with Boy scout Troop #24.

He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, , Northern Garrett Rescue Squad, and Allegany Ambulance, helped to serve many area rescue squads when needed.

Thomas was a very generous and a loving father, brother and son.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his children, Thomas S. Hetz and fiancé Kayleigh Fleek, Allison Charbonneau; brother, Mark Hetz and wife Paula; sister, Cheryl Curtis

Family and friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Avenue, Frostburg, MD on Saturday, January 21, 2023 from 10 AM to 12 Noon.

Funeral service will follow the visitation at 12 Noon with Pastor Stan House officiating.

Interment will be private at a later date.

In leu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to Durst Funeral Home to help offset the cost of the funeral.
