After that, he enjoyed working at Power Navigator, first in Washington, DC, and later when he and his good friend Ernie Ellingson moved the company to Columbia MD. In 2001, Andy had the opportunity to return to Western MD and his hometown of Frostburg. He retired last year as the Database Administrator at Frostburg State University.
Andy and his wife Jeannie (Rollins) met on the Memorial Day weekend of 1989 and were married on April 21, 1990 in Cumberland. Despite his career successes, Andy’s greatest accomplishments in life were his six children, his pride and joy. He is survived by his five sons, Zachary and wife Kelsy of Parkville, MD. Peter of Frostburg. Daniel and girlfriend Emily Parrell of Winston-Salem, NC. Timothy and fiancé Abby Burdock, Frostburg. And Samuel and girlfriend Courtney Yeager, Frostburg. The family would like to thank Dr. Mark Markowski and Andy’s entire team at Johns Hopkins for, not only their excellent healthcare, but for the compassion and humor in their treatment of Andy.
