Virginia Bertha Cecil

Mrs. Virginia Bertha Cecil, age 83 years old of Pearson, Ga, passed away, Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at her home, following an extended illness.  

Survivors include:  

6 Sons:  Kenneth Wade Cecil of Myrtle, Ms.

               Douglas Todd Cecil of Pearson, Ga.

               Ronald Wesley Cecil and wife, Ava of Springville, Ut.

               Daniel Scott Cecil of Draper, Ut.

               Timothy Mark Cecil and wife, Tonya of Pearson, Ga.

                Bryant Jedd Cecil and wife, Kimberly of Waycross, Ga.

Brother:  John H. Loar and wife, Helen Marie of Springfield, W.V.

Sister:  Judith Ann Murray of Vale Summitt, Md.

20 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, along with many other relatives also survive.

Mrs. Cecil was preceded in death, along with her parents, by her husband, Kenneth Irvin Cecil, 2 sons; Raymond Ben Cecil, and David Eugene Cecil, and 2 brothers; Elmer Lee Loar, and Wayne Lloyd Loar.

Funeral services for Mrs. Cecil will be held, Thursday, February 22, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Pearson, Ward.  The interment will follow in Frostburg, Maryland at Hillcrest Cemetery on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 2:00 P.M..

Visitation for Mrs. Cecil will be held, Thursday, February 22, 2024, beginning at 5:00 p.m., at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Pearson Ward.
