William Eric Rowley

Passed away September 26, 2026 at home in Finzel, MD.

Preceded in death by parents, William (Sonny) and Althea Rowley of Wellersburg, PA.

Survived by wife, Jill; children and families, Erica, Anthony and Emmy McDougle; Matt, Tisha, Hazie and Willow Rowley. Brother and sister-in-law, Darrell & Lisa Rowley. Brother-in-law and sister-in-laws, Harold and Debbie Malone, Sharon Malone, Beverly Hoopengardner and many nieces and nephews.

Eric was owner of Plank Road Carpets in Wellersburg, PA, a business started by his father.

He was a member of Sculton Rod and Gun Club. He enjoyed many years of riding motorcycles, 4-wheelers, camping, boating, hunting and fishing. He couldn't wait to show pictures of his three sweet granddaughters to family and friends.

Per his request, no viewing or service will be held. His ashes will be laid to rest privately at his home, family farm and his parents' grave.

Thank you all for taking time to check in with Eric through your visits, cards, calls and prayers. Thanks to WMHS Hospice/Pastoral Care for their many visits to give him comfort.
