William Winters, Jr

William Sidney Winters, Jr, 71, of Frostburg, passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2016, at Frostburg Village Nursing Care Center.
Born on April 12, 1945, in Frostburg, he was the son of the late William S. and Amelia D. (Shell) Winters.
William was a heavy equipment operator for Winner Brothers Coal Company and retired from Ritchie Trucking. He especially loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, gardening and growing flowers.
Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Gerri (Humphrey) Winters; children Gina Andrews, Frostburg, Billy Winters III and wife Jamie, Avilton, Joey Winters and wife Mary of Avilton; grandson, Chad Andrews; granddaughter, Tia Winters; siblings, Sally Hughes and husband Bill, Ruby Quartucci and husband Tony, Brenda Jones, LuAnn Giles and husband Francis, George Winters and wife Debbie; and numerous nieces and nephews.
