Wilma Juanita Wamsley

November 12, 1959 — February 25, 2026

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of, Wilma Juanita Wamsley, who left this world on February 25, 2026, at the age of 66. Born on November 12, 1959, in Cumberland, to the late Edith Margaret (Sigler) and John Elmer Gerley.

In addition to her parents she is preceded by her infant brother, Kenneth Sigler; sister in laws, Cindy and Kathleen Gerley; her ex-husband, Terry "Wiggy" Wamsley; and her lifelong significant other, David "Musky" Seybold.

Wilma worked at Silver Leaf Restaurant in Frostburg until they closed and went on to work at th Midland Fire Hall. She was a life time member at the Patch where she enjoyed spending time with friend and conversing over a Miller Lite. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Surviving are her sons, C.J. Wamsley and wife Mary, Terry Allen Wamsley and wife Karlee; her grandchildren, Micah Flanagan, Annabelle Wamsley, Christopher Wamsley, Lochan Wamsley, and Declan Wamsley; brothers, Charles J. Gerley and Ronald K. Gerley; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the funeral home to help offset funeral expenses.

As we come to terms with the loss of Wilma, we invite friends and family to gather in a celebration of her remarkable life on Monday, March 2, 2026, from 5-7 PM at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Ave, Frostburg. We will share stories, memories, and the love that Wilma so generously gave to us all.
