Gregory Taylor, 73, passed away on July 5, 2021, at UPMC Western Maryland Hospital.

Born on December 6, 1947, to the late Elmer and Margaret (Fraser) Taylor. He is also preceded in death by his son, Shane Taylor; two brothers, Gary and Ronald Taylor; In-laws, Andrew and Annabelle Neilson.

Gregory graduated from Beall High School in 1965. He worked at ACME and A&P and retired from Sheetz as a shift manager.

Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Andrea Taylor who was also a childhood friend; sons, Gregg Taylor and wife Lisa, Chris Taylor and wife Lisa; grandchildren, Corey, Madison, Gage, Danika and Breanna Taylor; great-granddaughter, Kaylee Taylor; sister Linda “Jane” Taylor; numerous nieces and nephews with one special niece, Stephanie Taylor; brother-in-law, Bob Taylor and wife Anna; friend who he treated as a sister, Audrey Goslin and a special young man he considered his son, Jesse Moyers.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday July 8 from 11 AM to 1 PM at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Avenue, Frostburg, MD. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM with Pastor Shawn Shoemaker officiating.

Gregory will be cremated after the services.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Avenue, Frostburg, MD to help offset the funeral expenses.
