James DeHaven Sr.

James Eldridge DeHaven Sr., 78, passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2020 surrounded by his family.

Born on December 3, 1942 in Corriganville to the late George Chester DeHaven Sr. and Margaret (Thomas) DeHaven. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Shelley Ann DeHaven.

James worked as a Truck driver for 48 years. He also loved Nascar Racing and enjoyed going to camp and going to picnics. The most enjoyable part of his life was spending time with his family and friends.

Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Cherie (McKenzie) DeHaven; two sons, James E. DeHaven Jr. and fiancée Cassie Clark, and Scott Alan DeHaven and fiancée Becky Shroyer; daughter, Shannon DeHaven and fiancée Matt Brehm; Two brothers, George C. DeHaven Jr. and wife Janet DeHaven, and Terry DeHaven and wife Wanda DeHaven; Sister, Gale DeHaven and Dave; Grandchildren, Melissa Romesburg, Tonya Der, Jordan Rhoads, Madison Rhoads, Kylye DeHaven, Gavin DeHaven, Haden DeHaven, Kayte DeHaven, Jasmine Clark, Danica Printy, Jackson Printy and Gia DeHaven; Great-Grandchildren, Cleo and Ezra Brow; He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Internment will be at Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
