Jason Tippen

March 23, 1990 — April 19, 2020

Jason Thomas Tippen, 30, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2020, at his residence.

Born on March 23, 1990, in Cumberland, he was the son of Jeri Robertson and Paul Tippen, Sr. and wife Debby.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jerry Scarpelli and step-grandfather, John Davis.

Jason attended Beall High School and was employed by Pilgrim’s Pride.

Surviving in addition to his parents are his daughter, Sarah Tippen; wife, Carla; step-daughter, Payten; brothers, Justin Tippen and Paul Tippen, Jr; step-brothers, Arthur Tippen and Aiddan Tippen; step-sister, Bethany Tippen; grandparents, Linda Davis and Ed and Sharon Tippen; 2 nephews and 3 nieces with whom he was very close; his uncle Rick; and his dog, Buster.

Jason loved spending as much time as possible with Sarah, who was his whole world.  He was an avid Denver Broncos fan.  Jason was a good-hearted person and would help out whenever he could.

A private family viewing and funeral service will be held Friday, April 24, 2020, at Durst Funeral Home with Rev. George Harpold officiating.  A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

The family asks that memorial donations, in Jason’s name, be sent to Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Ave, Frostburg, MD, 21532 to help offset funeral expenses.
