Randall “Cruz” Crews, 57, passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2020, at UPMC Western Maryland of natural causes.

Born on November 7, 1962, in Manassas, VA, he was the son of John Leonard and Billie Marie (DeBord) Crews; he is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Debbie Proctor and brother, Ralph Crews.

Randy was a self-employed carpenter; he was a “jack of all trades”. He liked his Harley’s, bike riding, and 4-wheeling and loved the Washington Redskins. He enjoyed working and building cars; liked to fish and hunt. He was a member of pool and horseshoe leagues.

Surviving is the love of his life, Thelma Rankin; children, Dayne Rankin and wife Tammy, Mark Rankin and wife Stephanie, Amanda Senter and husband Eddie, and Candice Kalbaugh and husband Diggit; 14 grandchildren; sisters, Glenda “Tink” McCray and her family, Tina Riley and her family; brothers, Robert Crews and his family, and Anthony Crews and his family; and his dog, Macy. He loved his grandkids.

Graveside service will be held at Sunset Memorial Park at 12:30 on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 with Rev. Larry Burkholder officiating.

A cookout will be held at 3pm following the services at Hoffman Pavilion.

In lieu of flowers, memorials should be directed to Durst Funeral Home to help offset funeral expenses.
